SwellWomen just completed our Spring 2005 Experience and I'm still feeling the Bliss from the twelve women who gathered from around the world to participate in our surf and yoga program on our magical Hawaiian Island of Maui. What a fantastic group they were! From sun-up to sun-down the twelve SwellWomen attendees were happily engaged in surfing, yoga, attending diverse and interesting workshops, snorkeling (WE SAW DOLPHINS!!!) and of course eating delicious and healthy meals prepared with love by our local Maui chef-ista. She is 'da best' on 'da island' and can cater to any special diet concern. We had such a swell time together with many new friendships being born. Big Mahalos ladies!!

For one reason or another, you can't make it to the SwellWomen Experience but are still dying to learn how to surf. You are vacationing on Maui and want to pamper yourself by giving yourself a private yoga lesson right on the beach with a highly trained yoga instructor. No problem. We offer bookings for group and private surf lessons and/or group or private yoga lessons, Monday thru Friday for men, women and children of all ages. Hello! I am very interested in scheduling a vacation to your resort. This will be the first time that I have been to Hawaii. I wanted to find out the best time of year to come. I was thinking about coming this summer or next spring. When is the best time to come weather wise? I want to be there when the weather is very warm/hot, but I want to try to avoid rain, if possible. Thanks for your inquiry and questions regarding SwellWomen! Our tropical paradise of Maui tends to get some rain year around which makes our island so green and special. Tropical rain is a little bit different from what you might be use to on the mainland. We may get a sprinkle of rain throughout the day that lasts just a few minutes...actually the sprinkle of rain is usually received with smiles as it has a nice cooling effect. Our retreats from April-August are generally during the warmest months with little to no rain. We are located on the west-side of Maui (dry side)so even the winter months tend to not receive as much rain as the north shore or east side of the island.
